Israel Will Be Gathered in the Last Days (27:1–13)
Isaiah |
27 1In that day the LORD will punish— Leviathan, a fleeing serpent, 2In that day, delightful vineyard, sing to it! |
The Lord |
3I, the LORD, am its keeper; I keep it night and day so that no harm comes to it. Who will give Me thorns and briars? 5but if they lay hold of My strength, |
Isaiah |
6In days to come, Jacob will take root; 7Has He smote {Israel} as He smote those who smote {Israel}? 8By exact measure, by sending {Israel} away, You contended with it. 9Therefore by this will the iniquity of Jacob be atoned for, when He makes all the stones of the altar, like chalkstones crushed to pieces, 10For a fortified city is solitary, a calf grazes there, and there it lies down 11When its branches are dry, they are broken. For they are a people without understanding; therefore, their Maker will not have compassion on them; 12And in that day, the LORD will thresh out the grain from the river to the wadi of Egypt, 13And in that day a great ram’s horn will be blown, and they will worship the LORD |
