Abstract | Lehi's family had already traveled 250 miles through a grueling desert when the sons were sent back to retrieve the plates of brass. Nephi and his brothers had to traverse the desert once again, face off with the powerful Laban, and then travel again through the desert to return their father. Nephi knew that the Lord would prepare away, but the way prepared was not easy. |
