Transformation
Adamant as stubborn rock
I have resisted Thy Word.
Take away my stony heart,
make it soft as bread
leavened by the spirit,
shaped by Thy will.
Preserve me,
steadfast and
impervious to evil,
until I become
once more as stone,
clear and imperishable,
precious as the jewels
of Thy crown.
