Seeking Knowledge

 
My heart kneels and my lips speak 
simple words that, like a small cup, 
hold some knowledge 
but can't contain it all.
 
In the silences between, 
I hear the sound of rushing waters, 
flowing from far-off fountain, 
copious enough to cover the earth.
