Samuel the Lamanite

Samuel the Lamanite comes to warn the wicked Nephites that they will be destroyed if they will not repent. He also gives them one of the most detailed revelations in recorded history when he tells of the signs pertaining to the Savior’s birth. Some Nephites are converted, but the majority desire Samuel’s destruction. When they are unable to hit him with their stones and arrows, they call for their captains to take him. Samuel leaps from the wall and returns to his own country, never to be seen by the Nephites again. The signs of the Savior’s birth happen exactly as Samuel prophesied.
