Ram’s Horn
On Mount Moriah, the ram,
caught head and horns
in thicket’s thorns,
became the substitute sacrifice
for all God’s children
and symbol of the Son’s
redeeming power.
Hollow the horn. Proclaim the news.
The certain sound circles the earth.
We answer with shouts of joy.
Hosanna!
