Oil of Anointing
Pressed from olives, oil fills the holy horn,
flows head to feet, haloing the faithful
in gleaming skins of health, strength,
power, and protection.
Amber fluid, fuel of lamps,
coats future kings in vestments of light,
ignites eternal promises of crowns,
dominions, posterity and endless joy.
