The Next Two Years
You say it doesn’t matter. But it does—
to Christ who bled and died for you,
to me and others who pray for you,
to those who sigh in ignorance
and sin and who will let you in,
to them and their children’s children,
to you and yours,
to those who wait, watch, hope.
It matters.
