Abstract | Although the prophet Jacob seemingly concluded his record after his commentary on Zenos's allegory, he made the decision to also include his later encounter with the apostate Sherem. While there may be several legal and doctrinal reasons for this inclusion, there are other reasons he may have done so as well. The conclusion of Sherem's story provides readers today with a lesson on ministering, especially to those who have attempted to do them wrong or lead them astray. |
