Modern readers are accustomed to speaking of the Anti-Christ Korihor as an atheist, or one who denies the existence of God. Was Korihor really an atheist in the modern sense? A close reading of Alma 30 in the context of what ancient atheism entailed fleshes out Korihor's teachings and his trial before Alma.
