Abstract | Recent research provides evidence that the Book of Mormon was translated in an astonishingly short amount of time. This evidence comes from analysis of corroborating historical documents, contemporaneous revelations, and informal translation experiments. When combined together, these interlocking sets of data can help readers trust, better than ever before, that the translation of the Book of Mormon was truly a “marvelous work and a wonder” (2 Nephi 27:26). |
