Abstract | Lehi’s admonition to his sons to be like the river and valley where they camped is poetic, and shares several characteristics with poetry by the Bedouin of the Arabian desert. This suggests that there is a common geographical and literary origin for the poetry of Lehi and the Bedouin. |
