Abstract | In Mormon's discourse on faith, hope, and charity, he makes a seeming detour to discuss the role and ministry of angels. However, a closer reading opens up a message that Mormon may have been trying to teach his people. Just as angels called men to repentance that others could have faith in the Savior, these members of the struggling Nephite church could be angels to those around them, mortal ministers enacting the will of the Lord to help their fellow brothers and sisters. |
