Abstract

Amlici is a rebellious Nephite who wants to become a king. He leads a faction away and they call themselves Amlicites. After having internal wars with the Nephi they join ranks with the Lamanites. All of this happens in Alma 2-3, and then the Amlicites are seemingly never heard from again. What happened to them? Some scholars have argued that the Amalekites, who show up later in Alma, are actually the same group as the Amlicites.
