| Abstract | Captured on their journey to the promise land, these barges weather the storms of life. This partially under-seascape is painted in exquisite detail. The story of the Jaredites leaving the Tower of Babel and sailing to a new land was created for my son. This epic adventure is his favorite story found in the Book of Mormon. I started my art journey with animals and my respect and awe of God's underwater creations can be seen in this painting. While visiting the Georgia Aquarium, I met whale sharks for the first time and decided to feature them in this piece. |
