His Easy Yoke
Enslaved by falsehoods,
we are in bondage,
burdened by foolishness
and worldly cares,
weighed down
with a yoke of iron.
But He will burst our bonds,
break the yoke of servitude to sin,
remove it from our necks.
Repentant and contrite,
willing to do His work, let us
connect in covenant
and bind ourselves to Him
whose yoke is gentle,
whose burden is light.
