| Abstract | Examines nine accounts of dissent in the Book of Mormon and determines why they failed. He shows that unrighteous, selfish desires for gain were the chief motivating factors among the dissenters. The unselfish desire to protect freedom and God was always successful in defending against the dissenters. |
