Abstract | Amlici vs. Alma is a favorite story of artist Katie Payne. The gripping story contains a civil war, Alma taking on religious and government roles, and then a final battle where Alma faces “Amlici with the sword, face to face”.Alma becomes strengthened to win the battle after crying out to the Lord mid-battle. The story inspires the artist to realize what it means to have God on your side in the battle that is life.
