New Star

Submitted to the 2021 Book of Mormon Central Art Contest.

What would it have looked like to look to the Sky at the time of Christ's birth?  This is what I imagined it would have looked like in the New World as the new star appeared in the sky  to announce the birth of Christ.  You can see Nephi at the top of the temple praying for the people that were threatened to be killed if the new star didn't appear.  At the bottom of the temple is a lite Stella that depicts the prophecies of Jesus Christ and the New Star.

Ever since she served a mission in Guatemala, the artist loves to use her creative imagination to picture and depict what it would have looked like in New World during the times of the Peoples of the Book of Mormon.  Especially during the time that Jesus Christ lived on the earth.
