Abstract | War torn pre-Columbian America was not exempt from the justice of God. The earth, wracked with torment from the death of its God, seized the wicked with its gaping jaws. The Savior's coming, long foretold by prophets, would not only be the hope for all men's salvation but for the one. In stark contrast to the death and the tumult that had shaken the earth, even to its core, what a sight His descent must have been. With Him came light to dispel all darkness. With Him came an unfathomable peace to dispel all fear. With Him came refuge from all storms. Laci Gibbs is first and foremost a digital artist, one who seeks meaning and beauty in whatever form it comes in. Submitted to the 2020 Book of Mormon Central Art Contest. |
