Abstract
Submission to the 2020 Book of Mormon Central Art Contest.
 
This digital painting depicts Ether 6:6-11 and the idea of the fear the Jaredites had to face. There is so much going on in the world that can seem frightening, but the Lord provides a way. The Lord showed the brother of Jared how he could travel to the promised land and also lit the 16 stones to light the way. The art was created on an iPad pro with Procreate.
 
Anastasia Bolinder is a Utah freelance artist, creator of various window displays for the gateway art walk for 2019-2020, winner of the 2016 visual arts grant by the Ringholz art foundation. She is the author of three young adult novels with one award winning.
