Bread of Light
The Son of God
lived for glory of the Father,
learned obedience,
received grace for grace
until He comprehended all things.
Bread became the token
of the One devoid of darkness.
May my eye also become single.
Partaking of these emblems,
may I, like Him,
be filled with light.
If your eye be single to my glory, your whole bodies shall be filled with light . . . and that body which is filled with light comprehendeth all things. (D&C 88:67)
