Saints’ Sabbath Prayer
Like the honeybee,
we labor in sixes,
carefully constructing
empty, hexagonal chambers.
Wilt Thou fill each void
with imperishable amber,
sweet as the Sabbath,
golden goodness
that will sustain in scarcity.
Bless Thy people
with precious stores.
Preserve and keep us
until the seventh,
millennial day.
