Even the Son of God

"While waiting at a Community Christmas event for an older child’s musical, using the nativity clothes provided, I dressed up my 3-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son, tossed the doll to their arms, said ‘look at baby Jesus,’ and snapped the picture before they could move. Later, while they slept, I drew the sacred scene that my children had posed for...Our ‘Come follow Me’ lessons are drastically different from the reverence portrayed in this picture. For what seems to be a recording set on repeat, a chorus of young voices jubilantly answer ‘JESUS,’ drowning out any other possible answer I hope to hear from my older children. Much like Alma, and the other Book of Mormon prophets, my children eagerly jump on any opportunity to testify of Jesus Christ and His divinity, for they know He is their Redeemer “…Yea, Even the Son of God.” (Alma 7:10)"
