Abstract

The land of Nephi produced many notable leaders including Alma, Abinadi, Zeniff, Noah, Limhi, and Gideon as recorded in the books of Omni and Mosiah. Righteous Zeniff stood in antithesis to the evil king Noah. Gideon was a righteous defender of the faith throughout his life, finally dying by the sword in defending the gospel against Nehor.
