In the New Testament, Jesus taught His disciples that they were blessed for the things that they saw and heard while they were with Him. Because being in the immediate presence of the Savior was such a profound opportunity, Christ’s ministry in 3 Nephi provides a record of unparalleled worth. Recognizing its great value, many church leaders, scholars, and careful students of the Book of Mormon have paid particular attention to its narrative, themes, and teachings. These studies and insights have helped demonstrate that 3 Nephi is truly the crown jewel of the Book of Mormon.
